Our farm is a small scale, certified organic vegetable farm. We grow a wide range of vegetables for our fall/winter Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) program, for local retailers and a few select fall and winter farmer’s markets.
To find out more information about our CSA, and what vegetables will be in our boxes this season, please check out our CSA page.
We grow a few select crops for wholesale, which in 2019 will include cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, carrots, rutabaga, and turnips. Businesses that we supply include the Kootenay Co-op, the Kootenay Bakery and Café, Gypsy Wagon Wood Fired Catering and the Kootenay Boundary Food Producers Co-op. If you have a business, café or restaurant, and are interested in buying wholesale quantities of certain vegetables, feel free to contact us. We are always open to trying new crops and varieties, and we will work with you to tailor our crop production to meet your needs!
In the previous years we raised a few pigs and a few hundred chickens for sale, which was generally a lot of fun. However, we have decided to focus on vegetable production for 2019 and hone our production systems. We hope to add meat animals back to our farm in the near future as our farm management skills grow. Finding an appropriate work/life balance is a juggling act that we are always trying to improve!
